SIMPLE DUO DUTCH BRAIDS

Hello everyone.

Right now it’s 1.40 am and I decided to write a post but I’ll be posting it at 12 pm because everyone’s asleep right now. When I get frustrated at something or someone I always like to do something with myself. I hate lying in bed and think about what happened. So today’s that day (or night) and I decided to write this post. Some people are just so hypocritical and ignorant. I know a lot of people judge you but don’t even know you. I mean what is up with that? Okay if you are being judged by a friend or a family but by someone you don’t even know very well? By someone who you don’t talk to on a daily basis? What is that? I just don’t get some people. I mean usually these things don’t upset me because I’ve seen a lot of stupid things but today I was actually in shock that I got a certain remark. After a few moments and a talk with my friend I realised it’s not worth my time. I mean these things happen on a daily basis. People are that way. They surprise you in any way possible. All I can say is: Let it go. If we were worried about every single stupid thing in our lives we would always live under a lot of stress. So I learned to let it go. You only need your truest friends and your family in your life. That’s more than enough. J  Now let’s go on with the actual post.

Two years ago I was obsessed with making different hairstyles because it was so long and I always liked doing something with it. When I was little my mum also used to do all sorts of things with my hair and I always liked it. I have to admit though that sometimes it was painful but in the end totally worth it. Last year in November I cut my hair to a shoulder length and since then I have to admit I haven't done anything with my hair. I always air or blow dried it and that was it. I guess I lost interest in making hairstyles because my hair was short and I always thought you can do nothing with it. Or I even lost interest in hairstyling my hair in general. Anyway now I have to say that I am back with making hairstyles.

I love watching Youtube videos where they show different hairstyles and they make everything look so easy (and it actually is really simple). So I decided to continue this obsession from two years ago. I want to show my hairstyles and how I like to style my type of hair. My hair is pretty thick and pretty easy to style with. The length of it is sort of medium so it’s not very long yet –I have to wait for it to grow out so I can make some weird things with it ;)

Today I have a very simple hairstyle for you. I love making dutch braids. I actually live with them all the time. They’re SO easy to make and it looks like you’ve put a lot of effort into it. It’s amazing how they turn out. The key to this braid is that you make a braid from under. When you add hair to the braid you put it under so that the braid has a 3D effect – it stands out and it looks a-mazing. I love making two or just one braid and it looks great in both ways. You can also pull out bits of your hair to make it messier or you add bobby pins to look more polished. Both ways are effective and won’t let you down.

BRAID UPDO

Hey guys I'm back from holiday. Now I am back into blogging and preparing more fun material for you. I still have a few more moments to enjoy my summer vacation and that means taking a lot of pictures, styling new outfits,... For now I want to show you this cute updo that I did. You basically do 3 regular braids-two on each side and one down the middle. Then you roll the middle one to look like a flower (in my head at least xD) and then you simply at the other two underneath the middle one. I used a few pins for this hairstyle, but that is actually all you need and clear elastics to secure the ends of the braids. I love this hairstyle because my hair is not all over my face and I don't feel hot since it's summer and the temperatures are insanely high. That's it for now guys. PULL-THROUGH BRAID

This beautiful hairstyle was inspired by 2 people that I saw on Youtube channels. They're called Aspyn Ovard and Cute Girls Hairstyles. As you can tell from the title it is called Pull-through braid and it is super easy and so fun to do. I think it is a great hairstyle for school as it doens't take too much time. So everyone who has long hair and if you don't want the same dull look, then I suggest you check their channels out and try it out for yourself. You can also share this hairstyle with someone you think would love it.

BUN IN A DIFFERENT WAY

I wanted to do this hairstyle for some time now. I saw it on Youtube channel called Cute Girl Hairstyle and it looks so nice and not that difficult to make (if you exclude the time). The steps are really easy to follow. It's a bun but it looks way more prettier and sophisticated. I think it's perfect for weddings and some dinner parties. So if you guys have any special occasions, then I strongly recommend you check out this hairstyle and their Youtube channel.

I also wanted to say that I am having some time of next week and I'll be celebrating my mum's birthday and will have some party time. I already have a few posts prepared in advance and they're fashion posts. So if you would like to check those out, then be on the look out this nex week. I will try and post as regularly as possible. It's sort of a Spring break type of vacation before all the exams start in June and kill me and my spirit. I just can't deal with so much stress that I'll be consuming in June. I just don't think I work well when I am under pressure. Although now I think that I did do everything on time and did not fail any of the exams. Maybe stress helps me? NO?! I do not like that feeling in your stomach and always being nervous and waiting for something bad to happen to you even though you know in the end everything will be just fine and you're probably making a big deal out of it.

Whoops I wrote a bit too much again. I just feel great when I write down everything and let it all out for the world to see. Tell me what do you think of this hairstyle and if you'd re-create it. It's, as I already said, so easy and it looks perfect for any occasion.

A SIMPLE DUTCH BRAID

I know that you guys may think that dutch braid is pretty simple but for me it is special because that day I made it myself and I was pretty proud of it. I woke up one night and came up with this idea that maybe dutch braid will be easier to do than normal french braid. I was right guys. I tried it the first time and I succeeded. I was so proud of myself and SO over the moon because I could never do braid close to the head. I always knew how to do a braid from a neck down and that's that. But now I know I can do something more. I will start doing hairstyles a bit more complex so that I can try my boundaries. You know what they say: "Sky's the limit."

DUTCH FISHTAIL BRAID

I don't know what's up with me...

I started doing so many hairstyles lately and been loving it. I see a lot of new things and I'm always eager to try it out. My mom always did different types of braids when I was little. Now I think it's my turn to do something myself and I always surprise myself.

This hairstyle that I did was actually one of the things I wanted to try for some time now. I know how to do a fishtail braid but I don't know how to do it close to the head. So this was my attempt this time and I think it's okay. Still learning though. I started doing it from the top of the head and I took bits of hair and put it UNDER insted of over the braid (that's the secret to make the braid pop out more). When I got to the bottom of my ear I took the rest of my hair and started braididng as a normal fishtail braid (putting bits of hair under the braid). That's the whole trick.

My blog just started showing more Hairstyle related posts. I hope you guys like it. I really like to discover new things and right now I'm obsessed with doing different hairstyles myself and spice up my hair a little bit.

3 STRAND FISHTAIL BRAID

This hairstyle may look as it's the hardest thing to do but it's not guys. Seriously once you get the hang of it you would want to do it every day. You can check out this kind of hairstyle on every social platform. I found this one when I was browsing through the Youtube (again I know...). I have long hair and I never do anything with it so I thought to myself:  ''why don't I make something different this time?'' and so I embarked on this mission to suceed in doing this hairstyle and it turned out even prettier than I even thought it would be. The actual twist of this braid was not supposed to happen but I guess I was really tightening it while I was going on. This twist honestly makes it look as it is a DNA (at least in my opinion) and it's so wicked and fun to see. 

So I think that anyone who has longer hair should definitely try this out and have fun with it. I know I thought at the beginning that it'll look one big mess but I was really surprised in a positive way. Well guys get on with it and you'll see that everyone will want to know how you did this. You'll be turning heads for sure.

EVERYONE KNOWS IT

I am sure you've all heard about the messy bun by now.

So yeah I decided to show you my version of a messy bun. I know everybody has a different way of making it but I thought I'd show you anyway. I love wearing it and it is by far the easiest thing to do when I don't have a lot of time or let's be honest I'm lazy and I don't have the will to do anything in the morning. The perfect sweater and I'm ready for some AHS and a cup of tea. I saw a lot of versions of this hairstyle but I was always upset because I couldn't never do the same as everybody else. After some time I realised that no one has the exact same messy bun as someone else. First of all the name says it: a MESSY bun and also we have different ways of making it.

So if you do a messy bun based on a tutorial that you saw on Youtube or Pinterest, then don't expect to be exactly the same. It'll turn out even better. So I hope these pictures inspired you to do your own 'version' of a messy bun and let me know if you did it. I'd love to see it.

CHAIN BRAID

Hello again!

I just loved the previous post that I did where I showed you a simple hairstyle for long hair. So today I did it again. Since my hair were a bit dirrty and I just wanted it to be away from my face, I decided to do this simple chainbraid on the side. It is super easy and it takes only a few minutes.

Basically what I did was I split the hair into two sections and from each one of them I made a rope braid. When I finished that I twisted both of them and this chain effect showed instantly. It's one of my favourites and I really really hope you guys will like it too.

Hair: check

I spend a lot of time on Youtube and I always look at others making different hairstyles and rocking it. Then one day it just occurred to me that I too have long hair so why don't I make something with it. So today I decided I was going to show you this hairstyle for long hair and medium also.

It's very easy and I think appropriate for all the different occasions. What I did was a ponytail and I made a loop and pulled y hair through it. From that point on I just did a regular fishtail braid. I love how it turned out and the effort I put in wasn't huge at all.

So guys if you have long hair and it's always let loose or in a ponytail, then I think it would be a great idea if you did something wtih it. I found inspiration on Youtube, Pinterest, Weheartit... There are a lot of sites from where you can find inspiration. So go and make yourself even prettier than you are right now.

I really hope you will do something new. Let me know what you think about this hairstyle. I think I'll do more of hairstyle posts because I really like that you can make an easy hairstyle and it turns out SO pretty and it looks as if you put a lot of effort in it. NAMELESS HAIRSTYLE

Again I will start with something that is very new to me: showing YOU guys this lovely hairstyle that I actually really like.

One day my mom said she wanted to try a new hairstyle on me and it turned out to be SO pretty and very convenient as all of my hair is moved away from my face (I have quite long hair actually). You wouldn't believe me if I told you I'm writing this post at UNI where people are all around me and I just realized that no one cares what I do. It's so nice to write/do something no one knows you're doing. Anyway back to the hair! I don't really have a name for it but it is braid that starts from the top of my head and goes all the way around my head and ends at the bottom and you continue to braid until you run out of hair *wink*. That is basically everything-I personally wouldn't be able to do it but if you're good with your hands, then you should definitely try it out.
