Fall is coming

Hello everyone.
Not long ago I bought myself a new camera which is the Olympus Pen E-PL7. The reason for that is pretty obvious-I didn't have a camera of my own and I wanted one that isn't too big or heavy. My sister has a Nikon and it's great and all but it's a bit bulky for me. I also like it because it's great for travelling and I can put it in my purse with ease.

I also want to give a quick update how this week is going so far. Maja and I went to two events. The first one was Ljubljana Fashion Week which was on Tuesday and it was really fun. It was our first time being there so it was something new for both of us. We had a few drinks and saw two of the fashion shows. I was really impressed by how everyone was dressed-they put a lot of effort in their outfits. All in all the experience was great. The next day we were invited to the launch of the new fragrance by Avon. This was probably the cutest thing ever. There were around 20 of us and the event itself was so nice. We chatted with everyone and tried the perfume. We also heard the background story of how the fragrance was made and also that it was made by Kenzo Takada which is pretty cool. At least for me :D We also received the fragrance ourselves for us to try at home and a body lotion and a body spray from the same line Avon Life. This event was such a lovely thing to be at. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Now it's Friday and we need to start packing for our trip to Paris. We are going on Monday for 5 days and I can't wait because I didn't have a proper vacation just yet. I worked all the time but now I can finally take a break. I hope I'll take a lot of pictures with my new camera for you guys to see.

So for this post I decided to test this beauty and see how the pictures will turn out. I have an outfit post for you and it's pretty casual mainly because I got myself a new pair of sneakers which are the Nike Air Force 1 that I wanted for a few years now and I finally treated myself with them. I paired them with my all-time favourite ripped jeans from Primark and this long grey sweater from H&M which is also a new purchase. I added this cute purse/rucksack. The size of it is per-fect. You can fit so many things in it and that is what I need when I go to town or I have errands to do.
Hope you guys enjoy this post and let me know what you think about the pictures and the quality of them. Enjoy **

Hot Pink &Polka Dots

Another post that was shot lasst week and it was so lovely and sunny but now it's raining and everything is grey and just look sad. So to brighten everyone's day here's a sunny outfit post. I wanted to make it a bit different. I paired these cute polka dot pants with a baggy jumper from H&M which is so soft and perfect to live in it ;) As for my footwear I didn't want to wear any ballet flats or heels so I opted for these bright pink sneakers. I think it makes this outfit casual but at the same time it makes it look fancy enough to look like you put a lot of effort in it. I also added a white and gold shoulder bag which is also from H&M. Of course sunnies are a must so I have these big black ones from New Yorker. You may also know that my favourite thing to put on my face is liptick so I applied this dark purple-ish shade to make the whole look more daring and also a sleek ponytail. Over this whole outfit I put my all-time favourite coat from H&M that you see in most of my outfit posts. If you want to see this outfit in action, then you can head over to our channel Modern Moment

P.S: pictures were taken by my sister Maja. Her blog is here

CASUAL WALK

I just love those days when I put on a cosy jumper and a pair of sneakers with a small heel and I'm good to go on a little strawl around the town. This day was so sunny and warm and these pictures were taken a week ago. You can see the difference in everybody when the sun is out. Everyone is riding bicycles or are with their children enjoying the day and absorbing vitamin D for the first time in long months. I am just like them. When the sun is out I somehow become more cheerful and am ready to do a lot of things which I otherwise wouldn't because the weather would prevent it + my mood would be awful. So when I see the sun this is a perfect time to take some pictures and show you guys what I like to wear in spring and when I'm just casually walking down the streets of Ljubljana. You can never go wrong with a pair of black jeans and a navy jumper just in case it's windy outside. I also like to accesorize a bit and add a few necklaces, sunnies or even a ring. That day wasn't very warm so I threw over a jacket and I was good to go.

The best thing about that day is that I saw so many people outside and children enjoying the day. I can't wait for summer to come and to wear skirts and shorts all the time. Now is spring so that's also great but summer will be just perfect. Tell me how's the weather in your country and do you like spring or is any other of the seasons your favourite?

SAVE ME NOW

It's freezing out here and I am not a cold person-HELP. This morning I went to town with my sister and it was SO cold I didn't think I would survive. I am not exaggerating a bit. Anyways I decided to write this post in advance because I am 100% sure I will be running out of time this next two months due to my exams so I am preparing myself and making new posts and studying and just being productive.

So today my sister took some photos of me in the mall. I was so happy to be somewhere where it's warm so that I could warm myself up. I knew it would be very cold that day so I was wearing some treggings with high knee socks but I didn't pull them all the way to my knees. Then I had a basic long grey top and over it a lovely white sweater from H&M and. Don't judge me I also put over a white cardigan (crazy I know but I was still cold). For my accessory I added an infinity scarf in burgundy colour and that's it. Oh and of course a winter jacket and ankle boots... oh and a knitted hat and a pair of black gloves. I just kept it casual and comfortable as much as possible. I do love comfortable things.

Let me know what's your favourite thing that keeps you comfortable and is perfect for those cold days. Have a great day lovelies.

THE LOST SUN

Hello lovely readers!

Who would've known college can take up so much free time (wink). I honestly have a hard time keeping up with everything. Studying, making new posts, providing new material for you... All of it has been quite tricky. To be honest I have a lot of new material prepared but the actual process of designing the whole post is a bit longer thing as most of the days I come home in the evening and feel so tired... But all this is ONE BIG excuse so there will be no more of that. I still post on schedule so today's no difference.
Let me show you my outfit that I wre recently when I was in the city and my sister and I decided to also take some pictures. Hope you like it. I have a skater dress with flowers on it. I paired it with some black stocking and grey high-knee socks. Over it I put a fluffy sweater and I also had a pair of winter shoes. And of course I had a coat and a simple black scarf.
Enjoy!

Hope you are all having a WONDERFUL time. See you next time.
