Hello let's take a break from fashion related posts and let's write about random things. This time I decided to write about a day in life. Just a random day where my sister and I went shopping and just some girly things. I didn't know that it was that hard to take a picture randomly when I'm doing smething. I literally forgot and now I am left out with just a few pictures that I really hope you guys will like and enjoy.

 Got to have a small breakfast. This time I went for some toast.

 A touch of makeup-foundation, a bit of mascara by Maybelline and a good old lipstick by Misslyn.

 This was my outfit of the day. Seperate post about will be on soon. It was a bit chilly though...

 This was my reward after 3 hours of shopping-Mexican food: Burrito mmm...

 This just had to be done. I've bought Voss water so that I would drink more fluids and since I saw a lot of people putting fruit in it, I decided I had to do this and I LOVE IT.

The last picture shows what I actually bought and I'm quite content with it. I bought a new notebook for my ideas for blog, markers, Nose stripes, new mascara, Garnier Micelar water, Borjouis concealer and of course Voss water. I bought s little but the best thing for me is this glass bottle eeeep..

You'll also see that that was just a part of my day. Right now I'm excited to see and try out all the products that I've got. But before that I am writing this post for you guys and I really hope you like it. I'll see you next time with a special post about something familiar to us all.

RETRO RETRO

Hello hello.

I have trouble sleeping even though I have a big test tomorrow but still I can't sleep. I don't think it's nerves but still... By the time this'll go up I'll probably already have written the test and get on with studying everything else since it's the period of exams at the moment. I am trying to do my best and not to fail any of the exams since it's my first year at UNI. Fingers crossed I'll do my best.

That being said, today I'm going to talk more about this RETRO style that invaded our lives so quickly and isn't planning t go anywhere. It somehow immersed into our fashion and it just decided to stay  maybe even forever. I actually really like this new sense of style because I always thought I was born in the wrong century. I even told my mom that I shouldn't be the 90s kid. Even though it's too late know *wink*. So I guess I'll just have to accept this fact and find some bits and pieces of old times somewhere else. I am actually pretty excited that it sneaked into fashion because it's something a lot of us girls and boys like. It wasn't a few days ago that I actually found out that I would love to evolve my sense of style more. Leja that's another topic STOP IT!

I -and hopefully you too- am here to talk more about retro style.To show you where you can see this sneaky little trend and with what you can combine it, so you'll still look absolutely fashionable. So I should probably start with the most obvious one: LEATHER JACKETS. They have been with us since the 40s/50s. Guys, James Dean already knew what fashion is all about. Since then, we've forgoten about it but they're back for quite some time now. You can never go wrong with them. Wear it with skinny jeans, skirts/dresses, tights,.. You can style them with anything and you'll look chic or rock. Plus the're different colours of them like seen below in the pictures. You decide.

Next thing that became popular again are BIG SUNGLASSES.Audrey Hepburn looked amazing with them and we got them back already in 2009-10. I think it's something like that. And they're still popular and present and I think they'll last a long time. I really like wearing big glasses especially on lazy morning when you look like a living dead. If you have them, you can look very chic and glamorous. Just be careful about finding the right shape for your face.

Another thing are SKINNY JEANS. I actually didn't know this is something we already wore in the past. It originated in 50s but were mostly worn by men since we-women-still wore skirts. But things changed. In the 80s this trend was beginning to get popular but it didn't last long untill now. We still wear skinny jeans and we rock in them. Again you can look super glamurous and polished with some heels or on the other side you can combine them with an AC/DC T-shirt and just rock at concerts. Skinny jeans became kind of a must in woman's closet and it should be if you feel great in them.

Last thing that I'll mention, even though there're a lot of other things that are worth mentioning, are the 60s DRESSES. I just love love love them. They make you look petite and some of them have collars which is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I also like that they end very close to the neck line and aren't too daring and we ladies don't have to worry we'll lose something (joke). So yeah guys I've been loving this dresses and I hope they never stop making them. 

These were all my choices that I wanted to present to you guys and I really hope you like. I really like that old fashion was brought back to our lives the way it can still look amazing and not old-fashioned as someone would say. Combining different styles is probably my favourite thing when I dress up in the morning. I am pretty satisfied with today's fashion.

FASHION MOVIES

This is about to be the most random post I've ever written. I just had an exam a couple of hours ago. It didn't go the way I planned it to be but I still have to be called to account so maybe I'll do better. Anyways for this post I decided to show you guys a selection of movies. But not just any movies-movies related to fashion or movies in which I love the way actresses are dresed. So I know this is not like others posts I usually write but it's still somewhat related to fashion (I think). I love watching movies and TV-shows so I think this can be a great opportunity to talk more about that. I don't know about you guys but it got to the point where I'm a little bit too obsessed with watching new movies. There's also the time of the exams and I crave movies and books even more but I have to restrain myself from it because-well you know why. So I will try to satisfy my desires and just write a post about it.

1) CLUELESS

     We just got to have this movie. I think it was the first movie where I saw someone having so many clothes and a walk-in closet. I mean HALO who doesn't want to have a walk-in closet. So yeah that movie made it on the list. Plus Cher's style was perfect.

2) PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

      It's a great TV-show and the style of all the girls in it is amazing. I think my favourite style will have to be Aria's because it's really daring and she looks like only she could pull something like this off. So yeah Aria you go girl.

3) THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

     You could almost expect this movie to appear on this list since it's like the bible for fashion combined in a 2 hours long movie. Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are amazing and what kind of transformation clothes can do.. Speechless.

4) CONFESSION OF A SHOPAHOLIC

      This is a kind of light movie compared to the one before. I love the New York setting and I love that it is sort of a comedy and the obsession with clothes is so funny but so true in many of the cases. I too am a victim of clothes (need more). So the movie is still amazing and if chicks fight over a pair of boots. Well...

5) SEX AND THE CITY

      The last movie featured in my small list of amazing movies is Sex and the City. Do I need to say more? We've all seen it, we all love it... It's per-fect.

Of course there're a lot of other movies that are out there and that I love it but we'll just have to be satisfied with this list. If you haven't seen any of the movies or TV-show, then I highly reccomend it. Peace out er'body!

OCCUPIED

At the moment it is the time for all my exams at the end of 1st semester and I've been so busy with studying and trying to write new posts. I am literally running out of time and that's why I haven't been so active on my blog lately. This is my first year at UNI and have no idea what to expect in the exams. But I got to admit that even though I have difficulties with time I am somehow more inspired to write new blog posts and to come up with new ideas. As if I know how to organize the time, when I'm more busy. That's actually perfect for me because then I don't neglect a single thing I should do. In the past I used to cancel all the plans or didn't write single post (my blog was not operating at all-out of business) just because I had exams and I honestly don't know why. Well that's in the past now and I guess I got enlightened by something or I just want to continue blogging as it is my only hobby and I really like it-I can do whatever I want with it ;) I don't have nothing special prepared but here are some pictures of me that I myself took -I am as astonished as you are- and are so random hehe.

NAMELESS HAIRSTYLE

Again I will start with something that is very new to me: showing YOU guys this lovely hairstyle that I actually really like.

One day my mom said she wanted to try a new hairstyle on me and it turned out to be SO pretty and very convenient as all of my hair is moved away from my face (I have quite long hair actually). You wouldn't believe me if I told you I'm writing this post at UNI where people are all around me and I just realized that no one cares what I do. It's so nice to write/do something no one knows you're doing. Anyway back to the hair! I don't really have a name for it but it is braid that starts from the top of my head and goes all the way around my head and ends at the bottom and you continue to braid until you run out of hair *wink*. That is basically everything-I personally wouldn't be able to do it but if you're good with your hands, then you should definitely try it out.

FOR MY SOUL

Few of you know I really like reading and discovering new books. Recently I was cleaning my closet and saw my small collection of books. Then I started to think why don't I have them somewhere on display and for them to remind me to maybe re-read some of it when I am bored. And that's basically what inspired me to write this post- Why not write about something I really like and enjoy in it. So here it goes. I put all the books out and now all I had to do was find a perfect place for them. Actually I had no problem with that part because I have a shelf that is perfect and has no stuff on it. So now my books are on display for everyone to see them. I actually feel great because I am really proud of them. I know not many people like books or reading in general but I admit I'm a bookworm and a little nerd when it comes to novels. EVERYDAY MAKEUP

Hello lovely people!

I want to show you my everyday makeup look. That basically means what I put on my face every morning before I go to college or out with my friends. I am not an expert in makeup therefore my makeup is not at all something special or complicated. I mostly use all this to cover my spots and that I don't look very tired. I would love to experiment with it but I am not very patient with this and we all know this takes a lot of practice and time. I guess I am just satisfied with a little conealer and a mascara. And these two products are one of the things I use. So the whole process goes something like this:

1) Moisturizer (we don't want dry skin do we?)

2) Concealer. Mine is by Maybelline

3) Powder to set the concealer. Mine is by Rimmel.
4) Eyeshadow. Mine's Trio palette by Deborah

5) Mascara. I use the one by Maybelline-Rocket volum'
OPTIONAL (I use it very often):

6) Lipstick + lip-liner. At the moment since it's winter I like using dark shades. I bought one by Misslyn in the shade 119
6) Eyeshadow

Let me tell you guys what I've always wanted to do... A question tag. I've seen others doing it and then seeing the lovely feedback they were receiving was so nice. I always wanted to know what it's like to answer some of the questions and now it's finally time to do something like this myself. I found a random question tag on Tumblr and that's basically it. It consists of 50 questions but I decided to take some of them out and answer them. I honestly hope you guys will like it as much as I did answering them.

 What was the last book you read?

          The last book I've read was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. Highly recommend it.

Do you like roller coasters?

          I don't hate them but I don't particularly worship them either. They're OK.

Day or night?

          Day. I am honestly really afraid of dark-especially when I watch AHS.

What do you hear right now?

         A song just ended so nothing (LOL).

 What’s your favorite memory with your best friend(s)?

         School trip to Rome. A lot of funny/happy memories.

That's easy. She's an idiot- a funny idiot.

         I passed it the second time.

        Amm are you kidding me? Absolutely YES.

How do you deal with anger?

         I stop what I'm doing for 10 minutes and pull myself together then I try to deal with it.

        Teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Where is the farthest from home that you've gone?

       UK and it was one of the best trips ever.

 What is your favorite season?

Summer. You already know I cannot stand the cold.

The best vacation you took?

With my best friend. We went to Corfu (island in Greece).

1st SNOW

The first snow guys. Whaaat? well it actually happened 28th December last year *wink*

It was really beautiful and my sister just said she wanted to go out and she grabbed the camera and we made some shots and of course we froze to death (almsost). We went to see how the forest looked. The untouched snow is so beautiful and special. It makes you feel so clean and calm. It really was a beautiful scenery to witness. Just look at some of the pictures and see for yourself. If you're a sucker for snow, then you'll love these pictures. I don't particularly like snow and the cold but seeing this kind of nature makes me so tranquil, special.

SAVE ME NOW

It's freezing out here and I am not a cold person-HELP. This morning I went to town with my sister and it was SO cold I didn't think I would survive. I am not exaggerating a bit. Anyways I decided to write this post in advance because I am 100% sure I will be running out of time this next two months due to my exams so I am preparing myself and making new posts and studying and just being productive.

So today my sister took some photos of me in the mall. I was so happy to be somewhere where it's warm so that I could warm myself up. I knew it would be very cold that day so I was wearing some treggings with high knee socks but I didn't pull them all the way to my knees. Then I had a basic long grey top and over it a lovely white sweater from H&M and. Don't judge me I also put over a white cardigan (crazy I know but I was still cold). For my accessory I added an infinity scarf in burgundy colour and that's it. Oh and of course a winter jacket and ankle boots... oh and a knitted hat and a pair of black gloves. I just kept it casual and comfortable as much as possible. I do love comfortable things.
